FMS provide Halfords with a totally outsourced solution for their hard FM services. Our service delivery has been captured under an innovative performance management agreement implemented jointly by FMS and Halfords. Over a period of ten years and working in conjunction with key client personnel from Store Development and Property, our agreement has grown to the point whereby our management services are totally funded by clear and transparent cost efficiencies and savings achieved by FMS from within the hard FM budget. In conjunction with strict supply-chain management, governed by web-generated real time KPIs, these transparent savings must be achieved to enable our performance agreement to be fulfilled. Our supply chain management is supported by a mobile site-based supervision presence. All site visit and feedback data are co-ordinated into structured periodic management feedback, enabling touch management and total peace of mind for the client. Over the years our agreement has encompassed management of TUPE issues, cross-departmental communication, changing legislation including Health & Safety requirements, and team and budget rationalisation. All our prices have been subject to market testing by the client and we are still their preferred supplier, ten years from our initial involvement.
