Dynamic and popular, Virgin Media was the first consumer brand to enter the mobile marketplace when it opened for business in November 1999. Their retail property porfolio encompasses both concession and standalone sites where Virgin Media hold the responsibility for the management of all associated facilities.
Their in house store retail team are currently on a fast track opening programme of stand alone stores on the High Street. Historically, their in house team managed all facilities issues in house, but their growing portfolio and associated growth in facilities issues led them to look at FM outsourcing solutions in 2007.
Following detailed discussion and a tender process by the Virgin Mobile team, FMS were selected as exclusive provider for both hard and soft FM services. Working with the Virgin Mobile team we implemented the following services, and following a successful three month trial, these services were structured into a long term exclusive FM contract:
